Indirect Speech: Commands and Requests
- Reporting Verb: வாக்கியத்தின் தன்மைக்கு ஏற்ப ordered, requested, advised, told என மாற்ற வேண்டும்.
- Conjunction: இதில் to + verb (Infinitive) பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.
எ.கா: The teacher said to the boys, “Work hard.”
➔ The teacher advised the boys to work hard.
எ.கா: He said to me, “Please lend me your pen.”
➔ He requested me to lend him my pen.
