நேர்முக மற்றும் மறைமுகக் கூற்று: அறிமுகம் (Direct and Indirect Speech – Intro)

Direct Speech (நேர்முகக் கூற்று)

ஒருவர் பேசியதை அவர் பேசியபடியே மாற்றாமல் அப்படியே சொல்வது Direct Speech. இது மேற்கோள் குறிகளுக்குள் (Quotation marks) இருக்கும்.
எ.கா: Rama said, “I am very busy now.”

Indirect Speech (மறைமுகக் கூற்று)

ஒருவர் பேசியதை மாற்றாமல், ஆனால் அவர் பேசிய வார்த்தைகளை அப்படியே சொல்லாமல் அதன் கருத்தைச் சொல்வது Indirect Speech.
எ.கா: Rama said that he was very busy then.

மாற்ற வேண்டிய முக்கிய விதிகள்:

• Tense மாற்றம்: Present Simple ➔ Past Simple ஆக மாறும். (am/is ➔ was).
• Pronoun மாற்றம்: I ➔ He/She ஆக மாறும்.
• காலம்/இடம் மாற்றம்: Now ➔ then, Today ➔ that day, This ➔ that, Here ➔ there.
